Eero Paloheimo EcoCity Ltd. (EPECC) is an expert in ecological infrastructure design. The company was founded in the beginning of 2009 and has already worked with some remarkable projects. EPECC has with its sub consultants designed the world`s first “Ecovalley” to be built near Beijing, China, it has developed a competitive software programme called “Ecocity Evaluator” and has been nominated as a leading consult for planning the carbon free township of “Nurmi-Sorila” in Tampere, Finland. EPECC and its project Mentougou Ecovalley has been nominated for the international “Katerva Award” in 2011. The company is growing and is constantly looking for top professionals to strengthen its team of innovative and enthusiastic experts.

The company`s core capabilities are based on Professor Eero Paloheimo`s extensive research during the last decades. EPECC is dedicated to acting globally and impacting locally by implementing ecological solutions into construction, planning and city design. When it comes to mastering comprehensive planning, establishment and evaluation of EcoCities, EPECC is a global pioneer. After publishing his book Professor Paloheimo has become an internationally renowned lecturer and expert of Ecocities. In China, where the most of the world’s Ecocity projects are proceeding, Professor Paloheimo is known as the ”Father of Ecocity”. As EPECC has followed and studied the different Ecocity projects around the world closely we believe we understand the size and the structure of the challenge.
